First Lutheran provides support to programs that reach people across our nation.

SAINT DYSMAS MINISTRY- Saint Dysmas is a prison ministry. First Lutheran will periodically provide funding for prisoners to buy clothes, since supported prisons do not provide uniforms.

KATRINA RELIEF – A 54-foot tractor trailer of relief items was sent by First Lutheran to the Bethel Lutheran Church relief center in Biloxi, MS. Bethel Lutheran serves as a health clinic, food bank, and supply center for construction after the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina. Items included cleaning supplies, clothing, food, and other basic items. Helping others was a "family affair" at First Lutheran !
