Statement of Purpose
The Fellowship Committee plans and coordinates social events for the congregation. The purpose of these activities is to develop a sense of unity, fellowship, caring, and mutual support. At the same time, the activities provide members and friends of the congregation opportunities to get to know each other better.
Activities
Events sponsored by the committee have included: the Coffee Hour between services; the annual Thanksgiving Eve Reception; Christmas Caroling for homebound members; Family Film Nights; the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Carnival; Adult Socials; and the annual Congregational Picnic.
Nature of Group Membership
Participation in the committee involves members of various ages and interest who share an enthusiasm for bringing people together in a social setting.
Meetings
Monthly on the first Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. in the Workroom.
